The City of Lassen has come alive at Girls State this week. They have elected their new mayor, city council, clerk and treasurer. They have also elected their representatives for the Senate and the Assembly.Tonight they have celebrated the theme of their city, Lassen Lollipops, by adorning their heads with lovely lollipop hats.
During dinner, they celebrated their city "mom" - Mama G with a lovely crown of lollipops and a huge lollipop septor.
The girls are all having a great time making new friends, learning about city development and singing silly Girls State songs at their general assemblies.
