Girls State has finally begun!! The City of Burnett has decided upon being the Bandits and have an entire Western theme to go along with it! They have decorated the City Dorm with Horses made of Pipe Cleaners, Cactus' made from Construction Paper, and even a designated Jail for those bad girls who don't clean up after themselves!So far in our election process the 5 City Council, 1 City Clerk, 1 Treasurer, 1 Senate and 2 Assembly Women have been elected! Many congratulations to them for their amazing accomplishment!
The girls have been designing City Hats and they decided upon a Cowboy hat and a fabulous Mustache to keep up their Bandit Spirit!!!
This is only the beginning to an AMAZING week here at Girls State, I know this will be an experience they will all remember for the rest of their lives!!!!
